The Office of the Clerk facilitates legislative operations and serves as the official record-keeper of the U.S. House of Representatives. Videos include oral histories collected by the House Historian and tours of the U.S. Capitol by the House Curator—supporting the preservation of more than 200 years of House history. The Clerk also provides House Floor live streaming and on-demand proceedings dating back to 2009 via HouseLive.gov, along with archives of State of the Union and other presidential addresses, plus addresses to Congress by foreign leaders and dignitaries.

The Office of The Chaplain is an office of the United States House of Representatives. The Chaplain begins each day's legislative proceedings with a prayer, participates in special congressional ceremonies, coordinates the scheduling of guest chaplains, and provides pastoral care to all members of the House community. Reverend Doctor Margaret Grun Kibben was sworn in as the Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives on January 3, 2021. Chaplain Kibben is an ordained Presbyterian minister and served more than thirty years as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy, completing her career as the U.S. Navy’s 26th Chief of Chaplains.
